About the job
The core network of Telavox is built by us, and as our Network Engineer, you will transform abstract requirements into robust and scalable solutions that are ideally automated. 🤖 You will be a part of an outstanding Engineering department that works agile and embraces the idea of collaborating across teams to deliver value to end-users through software.

You will solve complex questions and problems to design, build and operate the infrastructure that underlies our global communication service. You will support and capture requirements as well as expand our footprint 👣 in new markets based on our commercial agenda together with other product development teams.

Our favorite tools for the job are currently:

Juniper, Cumulus/FRR, and Linux kernel networking

Most prevalent networking protocols: OSPF, BGP, and EVPN

IPsec/Wireguard for VPNs

Ansible, Bash, and Python for automation

Observium, Netbox, Icinga, Grafana

Objectives on the radar:

Help out with our on-premise data centers managed with DevOps tools and principles.

Growing international edge network of PoP sites and BGP interconnects.

Global routing architecture, connecting all these sites with resiliency and scalability in mind.

About you
Having fun while doing an excellent job, we believe you have experience in network design and troubleshooting. Background from ISP network architecture, infrastructure automation as well as experience with Juniper and/or Linux networking, will literally make us dance our happy dance!

You’re a systematic and structured person who drives your assignments forward with both quality and speed. The culture at work is very important for you and you appreciate collaborating across team boundaries.

Bonus points if you:

Are passionate about programming

Have any network certification

Have any cloud infrastructure certification (AWS etc.)
