Purple Team Lead

At Sandvik Group IT, we’re currently looking for a driven Purple Team Lead with wide IT security competence and experience to strengthen our team. Welcome to an exciting yet challenging role where you get to work with bright minds from all over the world!

Your mission

In this position, you’re part of Sandvik’s internal Global Security Operations (GSO) team, a function that includes operational teams for incident management, threat-hunting and threat intelligence. You play a big part in further developing our detect-and-response capability which requires a personal drive and genuine interest within the cybersecurity area. Further activities in your job includes:

• Working with continuous assurance of security readiness across Sandvik’s complete attack surface
• Applications and systems penetration testing
• Collaborating with Sandvik’s internal CSIRT as well as Incident Management during high priority incidents
• Performing attack simulations together with SAND-SOC and SAND-CSIRT teams
• Threat-hunting in Sandvik’s IT environments

This position is based in Stockholm, Sweden and allows for a hybrid working schedule.

We’re looking for someone with experience in these areas

• Working with penetration testing
• Red Team/Blue Team exercises
• Penetration testing with Kali
• Web Security Burp Suite
• Enterprise Linux environments
• Enterprise Windows environments
• Security tooling (FW, AV, IDS, EDR)

These skills and certifications are beneficial

• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) or similar
• CSISSP or similar
• Digital Forensic
• Understanding of programming languages (Python, Powershell, Bash)

Since we operate in an international environment, you’re able to efficiently speak and write in English.

You’re a true negotiator and have no problem being the center of attention. You also show creativity, outside-the-box thinking and are able to tackle obstacles in a way that challenges the status quo.
