Exterior Lightning Function System Engineer - Remote

Assignment Description:

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer for Exterior Lightning Function to join our team.

What you will work on:

• Develop a system fulfilling cross-functional solutions according to architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with different teams and organizations to establish requirements and ensure compliance with agreed-upon standards.
• Play an integral role in handshaking and coordinating functionality distributed among multiple ECUs.
• Work in an agile environment within cross-functional teams, including function owners, SW developers, and testers.
• Contribute to the development of exterior lighting functions, such as Adaptive High Beam based on ADAS camera input and light source detection algorithms.

What you bring:

• University degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system engineering or equivalent knowledge in distributed embedded systems.
• Familiarity with system engineering processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of automotive standards and protocols (CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet).
• Ability to work with C++ programming and Simulation using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Configuration Management.

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in exterior lighting development at an automotive Tier 1 supplier.
• Familiarity with SystemWeaver.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Understanding of Automotive standards like AUTOSAR and ISO26262.
