Assignment Description:
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Test Engineer to join our team
What you will work on:
- Synchronize and coordinate contacts between the project execution team, customer departments (interior, exterior, industrial design, and styling), and expertise.
- Contribute to the development of body structures, vehicle exterior attachments, interior fittings, chassis, drive train, and lighting in the automotive industry.
- Apply the latest development tools and methods in construction, simulation, and testing to ensure high competence and innovative solutions.
- Perform fault analysis techniques and identify potential hazards in automotive development.
- Adhere to automotive development standards and processes.
- Work on innovative and cutting-edge challenges in complete vehicle development.
What you bring:
- Experience in Linux, C#, or C++.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with automotive development standards and processes.
- Knowledge of fault analysis techniques and methods for identifying potential hazards.
- Familiarity with safety-critical industry standards (a plus).
- Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies and techniques.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN).
- Experience with software version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standard (desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
