Senior developer / Teamlead

Introduction

Stockholm Stream offers you an opportunity to further develop our unique state of the art system Delta, a platform that makes it easy to deliver or ingest assets for VOD-platforms (Video On Demand). Some of the platforms we work with are Amazon Prime, AppleTV, Comcast and Vimeo. We are looking for a senior developer with team lead experience, who likes solving complex problems and working with full-stack and cloud development.

About the Role

You will lead our small and experienced team and further develop our system and tools for the growing VOD industry. Your task will be to take feature requests and find the best way to implement them into the existing system and to make it a stable part of the product. For each feature we implement we aim to have a better product not just for the requester, but for all customers. You will both do coding within your expertise area and lead the team to make sure we deliver a supportable and stable product.

We think you are a pragmatic individual who likes to deliver stable functions where the best suitable technology is used for any given solution, instead of focusing on ”only .NET” or all has to be running in the cloud. Therefore you will come across a number of different technologies. We think that you love to work together with team members in a fast paced and rapidly changing business.

Required Experience

• Leading developer teams and set the code standards
• Backend C# .NET development
• React front
• Postgres and MSSQL database
• CI/CD pipelines
• Container services
• Manage AWS resources like EC2, S3, ECS
• Logging systems like Datadog
• Good levels of communication. Both written and verbal in English

Bonus Experience

• Experience of working with metadata and media files for streaming media
• Experience of video transcoding, ffmpg, Mp4Box, Elemental
• Experience of documenting systems for support team
