Data Engineer - Data Lake

Join our cloud-based Data Lake team!

We are a team of five Data Engineers, part of Data Platform, who are looking for a new person to join us and help us moving forward with a scalable approach for Kambi's growing needs.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data solutions for our data lake and ecosystem around it.

We primarily work with Python, Java, Kafka, Apache Spark, SQL/NoSQL databases, AWS and k8s. While experience with this specific tech stack is a plus, we are looking for someone who is excited about learning new technologies, has some programming background and has understanding of dockerized and containerized environments.

Our team was one of the first teams at Kambi that moved to AWS, so we hope that you are interested in further work in the cloud. We believe that you have 2-3 years of a professional experience and are familiar with agile methodologies.

We highly value soft skills such as collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Our teams have a high level of autonomy in decisions around solutions and ways of working. You will thrive in this role if you are curious, enjoy technical discussions with your team and willing to collaborate to find the most suitable solution.
