As a Solution Architect IoT Edge, you will translate business needs and ambitions into concrete, robust and appropriate solution architectures (highlevel design), and transition roadmaps that achieve the right business outcome. You will lead architecture activities, across product and platform areas, specialis

e in AWS IoT Edge technologies, with a focus on integration of on-premise equipment

Key Responsibilities and deliverables:

· Act as subject matter expert to safeguard that Delaval gets maximum benefit from the preferred IoT technology, based on AWS IoT and Greengrass.

· You will create & refine architecture designs and patterns; and ensure that they account for non-functional requirements such as reliability, scalability and performance upon deployment.

· Evangelise the platform edge integration capabilities throughout the Delaval organisation.

· Monitor the trends in the IoT Edge and digital manufacturing domain and define recommendations on what technologies are relevant and suitable for Delaval.

· Collaborate with Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end

· Digital Services solutions

· Implement small proof of concepts and technical demos to facilitate product development discussions.

· Participate in initial dialogues and concept design for new business opportunities

Your qualifications:

· University degree in business administration or IT (Master/Bach of Science)

· Certified in public cloud technologies AWS, Azure, GCP

· You have a background in software development and architecting complex systems

· Hands-on experience in designing highly available edge solutions for integrating customer on-premise equipment with digital cloud platforms and cloud based management tools such as SaltStac

· Extensive experience in (embedded) Linux, database technologies and container technologies such as Docker.

· Extensive experience with TCP/IP networking and 5G/LTE mobile connectivity.

· Knowledge about hardware design, electronics and industrial protocol busses is a plus.

· Good strategic capacity and ability to communicate with both, business/strategic stakeholders and technical development team

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with diverse people across different functions/cultures Strategic & logical thinking with great analytical skills

· Fluency in written and spoken English

· Integrates and works well in a global team and multicultural environment

· This position is located in Tumba, Sweden. You will report to Director Architecture & Technology.
