Data Scientist

We are looking for an external and temporary Data Scientist to be part of the Analytics Team. The Data Scientist works collaboratively with end users and other members of the Analytics Team to build and maintain small-to-large analytics solutions to be used across the business. The Data Scientist conducts research, design, prototyping, development, implementation, and validation of cutting-edge algorithms to analyze diverse data sources, as well as to set/affect strategies needed to achieve desired business outcomes.

Tasks:

- Preparation of data sets for exploration and visualization

- Selection of advanced analytics methods and tools based on business / IT requirements

- Automate selected parts of business / analytical processes by developing high quality code

- Prepare reports and presentations and present data analysis workflow and results to management and colleagues

- Collecting business requirements related to data analysis and data-based insights generation

Skills:

- Advanced analytics methods: from statistical modeling through optimization techniques to machine learning methods

- Python/ R

- Experienced in cloud environments, especially in Microsoft Azure

- MS SQL Server

- Azure DevOps with GIT

- Communication skills and ability to explain complex technical topics to a wide audience

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
