In our department called Service Portfolio and delivery, within Sales and Marketing function, we design, develop and deliver the global portfolio of digital customer services.

 

THE ROLE

In our design team that you will be part of, we collaborate with our customers and peers, to co-create and deliver the best digital user experiences in the industry; experiences that are premium, seamless across digital touch points and inclusive towards our users’ needs and cultures across the globe.

As a Senior UI designer in this team, you will lead the way towards our vision and mission. You will take active part during the whole design process collaborating with Service designers, UX and UI designers, business stakeholders and front-end developers, to build digital prototypes and specify the detailed design, aiming to deliver premium final designs to our customers.

You will lead the visual design of our digital applications to our end-customers, making sure the user experience is seamless, intuitive and the digital design is following our design system and is aligned between all digital touch points.

 

YOUR PROFILE

• 4+ years of experience as a UI designer, Digital designer, Product designer or similar.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Design, Digital design, Product design or similar, hands-on experience with relevant training courses may be considered.
• Fluent in using and creating Design systems and continuously suggest improvements, creating designs that adhere to established standards and guidelines.
• Excellent skills in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Well-developed sense of visual aesthetics and used to design for the end-user, with a focus on user needs and behaviours.
• Quick and high-quality design of icons and components and final designs for website and mobile applications.
• Ability to coach & mentor UX Designers within digital design and how to use fluently Scania’s design system.
• Experienced in using Design thinking.
• Ability to work in several projects at the same time and support multiple visual design tasks.
• You can effectively communicate ideas, design decisions, and recommendations to stakeholders, as well as motivating your design ideas.
• Great storytelling, presentation and convincing skills as well as ability to adapt to the audience, business versus technical.
• You have a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates design skills and ability to create visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces.
