We are now expanding our team with a software engineer. You will have the ability to transform product requirements and customer needs to state of the art solutions and to further advance the embedded system technologies in our wheel loaders.

We are the Electromobility & Uptime team for Wheel Loaders at Volvo Construction Equipment.
Our team is based in Eskilstuna, and we are responsible for embedded control software, which is one of the most important areas in our products. This means that we work with the software that operates our wheel loaders and we are world leaders in functionality and operability, now transforming into Electromobility, Automation and Apps.
As a part of our team, you will be involved in activities for embedded software development, functional development in simulation and machines, electronic system architecture development and also to support our testing activities in the evaluation of design solutions. You will join a scrum team of enthusiastic and talented individuals, and collaborate with other teams daily, making sure we continue to deliver great products.
Who are you?
You have a relevant education within areas of mechatronics, software engineering, electronics or similar or/and you have worked in the embedded software space.
You have experience in writing readable and maintainable code using C/C++. You have basic knowledge of Matlab and Simulink.
You share our curiosity for innovative technology. You enjoy working with software and you also get your energy from collaborating within and outside of our department. You enjoy learning new skills and can also contribute to your colleague’s’ growth.
