ABOUT THE ROLE

As Application Developer at Heads you will work closely with their platform team to build fast, engaging and user-friendly applications. You will be putting the finishing touches on everything Heads does, bringing the latest innovations to life.

WHO ARE YOU?

To be successful in this role we believe that you have a curious mindset, the ability to hold your own in an argument, and a knack for tackling problems from first principles.

We also believe that you are/have:

- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a relevant field

- Comfortable working with a bespoke technical stack, including a database, application server and UI framework, that may be very different from what you are used to.
- Interested in exploring ways of fundamentally improving how software is built.
- Strong programming skills and familiarity with several different programming languages, ideally in different paradigms.
- Experience developing and delivering cloud-based (SaaS) products.
- Experience developing applications that combines high transaction volume with complex business logic.
- Some experience with modern UI development practices, using frameworks such as React, Swift UI or Flutter.
- Familiarity with Linux, macOS, FreeBSD, or other Unix-like systems, as well as development tools such as git and Docker.

IT IS ALSO BENEFICIAL IF YOU HAVE:

- Experience working with the web platform and related technologies, including HTML, CSS, JS and HTTP.
- Experience with complex systems integration tasks.

- Knowledge of the Swedish language.
