Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer – Android Focus to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Play a pivotal role within one of our 5 product teams at IT Trafik och Service, contributing as a senior full stack developer with a specialized focus on Android.
• Develop and manage proprietary systems critical to our planning and traffic management operations, collaborating closely with end users to ensure optimal functionality.
• Participate in the migration and reconstruction of our entire backend into a microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with your team to operate applications on our Azure cloud solution, delivering solutions that are crucial and must operate 24/7.
• Shape the future of our customer’s digital services by influencing the design and development of applications.

What you bring:

• Multiple years of hands-on experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in programming languages, including Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with migrating, refactoring, and maintaining legacy code.
• Proficient in designing REST APIs for effective communication.
• Ability to write comprehensive tests and maintain testable code.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

Meritorious Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
• Proficiency in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft DevOps or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with collaborative tools like Jira, Confluence, Git pipelines.
• Exposure to Pair and Mob Programming methodologies.
