Working with system verification within automotive, means being a professional who is responsible for testing and verifying complex systems to ensure their functionality, performance and compliance with specified requirements. The primary role is to create and execute test plans and procedures to validate systems behavior.

As a System Verification Engineer, you need a deep understanding of the system architecture, components and functionality. This includes knowledge of hardware, software and their interaction within the system. The role involves analyzing product designs, potential areas of failure and building reliable test mechanisms. You will also be a part of the implementation of quality controls and develop test procedures. As a person you need the ability to solve issues that do not always have clear answers.

Primary tasks:

• Develop and implement verification methods for products.
• Design and implement test procedures to ensure product functionality.
• Debug and analyze products to identify and correct errors.
• Cooperate with colleagues and partners to develop design- and verification methods.
• Drive the products safety awareness.
• Give technical device and support to other engineers.

B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Power Electronics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar relevant academic background.

Experience within any of below is desirable:

• Experience working within test automation and how to make testing efficient and effective.
• Experience working with Matlab (Simulink), dSPACE and/or Vector.
• Experience working with C, C++, Python
• Good knowledge of managing, planning, preparing, executing and analyzing test/test results
• Knowledge of preparing RIG, HIL or SIL environment for testing
• Good communication skills, experience working in cross-functional teams.

Having a good understanding of automotive software development processes is meritorious. B-driving license is required and C-driving license is meriting.

Fluency in English – verbal and written is required. Knowledge of the Swedish language is desirable.
