About the role

Postkodlotteriet’s tech organization in Stockholm consists of 50 employees. They have five different product teams: loyalty, sales, payment, data warehouse, and platform. You will belong to a special team, but the work will naturally involve close collaboration with other product teams. At Postkodlotteriet the employees learn and develop more when they use each other's strengths and competencies; that's why Postkodlotteriet loves to work cross-functionally.

Now we are looking for Java Developers to join Postkodlotteriet’s Payments team

As a Java Developer, you will be part of a product team consisting of four full-stack developers and one product owner. Together with your team, you will be working on creating a smooth and modern payment journey for the company’s existing and new customers. Since they work with a large customer base of 1 million customers, this means that you will handle large transaction volumes that result in high demands on performance and reliability. You will further develop the company’s integrations for existing payment methods and build support for future requested payment options.

We are looking for you who:

  • Have previous experience with Java and microservices
  • Have experience in developing payment solutions
  • Have an interest in working within fintech environment
  • Can communicate in English and willing to improve your Swedish
  • A real team player who loves to share knowledge with others and contribute to the team development

It will be a bonus if you:

  • Have experience with React/Vue
  • Have a strong knowledge in SQL and large transaction volumes
  • Have experience with Dropwizard
  • Have experience working with cloud services
  • Have experience in a similar industry

The corporate language at Postkodlotteriet is Swedish. Therefore, we would like to help you learn the language. In collaboration with EF, we offer Swedish classes during your first year of employment. Teaching is held 2 hours/week for 15 weeks and you are kindly expected to participate in the course to enhance your Swedish language.

This is a consultancy employment, which means that you will be employed by Novare Potential and work as a consultant for Postkodlotteriet during the first year. After the first year, you will be hired directly by Postkodlotteriet, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. The employment is full-time (100 %) at Postkodlotteriet’s office in Stockholm.
