Junior Software Engineer

Are you interested in the development and technical design of large-scale business critical systems? Then we are interested in you! Lynx is looking to add a junior Full Stack Software Engineer to the post-trade systems team in Stockholm.

About the job

As a Junior Software Engineer at Lynx, you will work alongside our experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain our software applications, which are crucial to our investment process. You will have the chance to influence the technology stack and contribute to the strategic plan for our next-generation post-trade platform.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, testers, traders, and analysts to ensure an innovative, dependable, and robust post-trade completion process.

What you’ll do:

• Develop new – and improve existing – features
• Work on performance and scalability improvements
• Help optimize the technical design and architecture
• Contribute to the strategic technical decisions for the systems
• Contribute to the expansion of our tech stack
• Take part in firm wide projects

Who you are:

• You most likely hold a BS/MS degree in Com­puter Science or an equivalent field
• You have recently graduated or bring a few years of work experience
• Your go-to programming lan­guage should be an object-oriented one such as C# or Java
• You have experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies like AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferable, but not a requirement
• You are familiar with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• You are curious, innovative, a team player and quality orientated
• You are fluent in English
