Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Go Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend solutions for online services supporting current and future games.
• Develop backend services for upcoming next-generation games, contributing to their success and functionality.
• Collaborate with an experienced programming team to bring creative and innovative ideas to life in the gaming industry.
• Utilize your expertise in Go programming for games to create efficient and effective backend systems.
• Apply strong knowledge of cloud services to optimize the performance and reliability of backend solutions.
• Implement and manage database and cache solutions, including SQL/NoSQL databases and Redis.
• Utilize asynchronous programming techniques to enhance the responsiveness and efficiency of backend services.
• Foster collaboration within the team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
• Leverage your communication skills to effectively work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds in an English-speaking office.

What you bring:

• Minimum 5 years of professional backend programming experience in Go for games.
• Strong familiarity with cloud services, utilizing them to create robust backend solutions.
• Proficiency in database and cache solutions, including SQL/NoSQL databases and Redis.
• Experienced in asynchronous programming techniques, enhancing the performance of backend systems.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, contributing effectively within a programming team.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Swedish language skills are not required but a bonus.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Unity game development.
• Knowledge of Data Engineering principles and practices.
