Our growing organisation provides the test platform that will make a difference for the vehicles of tomorrow!
We are responsible for developing and maintaining the software that utilises the capabilities of our HIL and SIL environments. To be able to test the vehicle’s software, we develop and build state-of-the-art SIL environments and HIL rigs, that support a large number of truck and bus configurations.
The purpose of HIL is to test the software executing in the hardware. This is done by tricking the system and its component parts into believing it is executing in a real vehicle with all its dynamics. This is achieved using real-time execution of environmental models. With SIL, we can execute the same software but on a standard personal computer.

Our group consists of 2 teams, the Test Automation Software team and the Software In the Loop team. Your task as a Software Developer and Scrum Master
You will be a part of the Test Automation Software team, which consists of 7 software developers, and work in close cooperation with the teams who handle hardware and models.
You will have two major tasks:
• Software Developer for our applications executing in a dynamic real-time environment
• Scrum Master based on the SAFe methodology
Together in the group, we all contribute to improving our processes and eliminating waste. We work with embedded systems for the complete vehicle which gives you the possibility to gain knowledge about all systems and new technologies, as well as a broad network within Scania.
As a person, you have good communication skills and like to drive things forward together with others. With a positive can-do attitude, you find solutions even if the requirements are vague. You love to learn about new technologies and combine them with your experience and interpersonal skills.
You have experience as a Scrum Master and are familiar with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
You are a graduate engineer with some years of work experience. You have experience working with Jira, Python, C/C++, Matlab, or similar. It is a merit if you have experience working with control systems, hardware, or embedded software development. Experience working with automated test systems is meriting.
You are fluent in English, both written and in speech, and if you don’t speak Swedish you are eager to learn. A requirement is a class B driving license, C driving license is meriting.
We work with all embedded systems for the complete vehicle. This gives you the possibility to work with the latest technology e.g. for electric vehicles and autonomous vehicles. We collaborate with the owners of the different embedded systems which will give you a broad network within Scania and also the possibility to learn about the details.
