Who are we?

SustainLab was founded in 2020 by professionals in sustainability and computer science. We are a group of diverse professionals with shared concerns about sustainability and climate issues. We came together and invested our time and passion to help companies, the main contributors to the issue, to accelerate change for better business - better planet.

What do we build?

Data is at the center of everything we build, and our solutions are data-intensive. We vendor an ecosystem of software solutions to help companies with their sustainability data both internally and across supply chains. Our solutions are used for automated data collection, KPI calculation, and data analytics and we process data related to environmental footprints, economical performances, social sustainability, etc. Our software consists of a dataflow infrastructure, data management applications, data science techniques, and BI tools.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with development teams to create and implement cloud-based systems that are scalable and reliable.
• Creating, testing, and maintaining automation frameworks and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
• Setting up and managing monitoring and alerting solutions for cloud-based systems.
• Identifying and resolving issues across various layers of the technology stack.
• Working with development teams to enhance application performance and reliability.
• Keeping abreast of emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Have 1-2 years of experience in the field of DevOps.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, and Java.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
