Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior FPGA Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Collaborate effectively within a distributed and remote agile team, using tools like Microsoft Teams.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in VHDL and/or Verilog, along with familiarity with architectures and tools from Xilinx.
- Apply expertise in HDL simulation and testing using tools such as ModelSim and VUnit.
- Contribute to tasks encompassing investigation, pre-studies, solution development, implementation, testing, verification, troubleshooting, and support.
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration, contributing your skills in hardware, embedded software/hardware, FPGA, application software, and lab work.
- Continuously develop your skills and learn from fellow team members to achieve collective goals.
- Occasionally travel to the Västerås and/or Ludvika areas (a few times per year) for team meetings or on-site work.
What you bring:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog, with a deep understanding of architectures and tools from Xilinx.
- Experience with HDL simulation and testing tools, such as ModelSim and VUnit.
- Self-driven and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team effort.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Meritorious Skills:
- Embedded software development using C/C++.
- Familiarity with HiDraw and hardware design/layout experience.
- Test and verification expertise.
- Application software development using C#/.NET.
- Experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) organization.
- Scrum Master or Product Owner experience.
