We are looking for a Junior Front end developer with 2 years’ experience for a big retail concern in Stockholm. The Consultancy assignment starts 2016-04-04 and it extends until 2016-10-04, after 2016-10.04 employment at the client can occur. The application deadline is 2016-03-17.

Working instructions
To our costumer, Experis IT are now looking for a junior front end developer to their development team that supports the Buying business. All reports are developed in Cognos. The ETL tool used is Informatica PowerCenter and the database is Netezza data warehouse appliance. The data source of the Cognos reports is either SSAS Cubes or the Netezza database.
As a front end developer, you will work within an agile Scrum team with requirements analyst, solution designer, ETL developers, Cognos developers and testers.
CDW - Corporate Data Warehouse – is an initiative to store and maintain a data warehouse for the Sales and Buying business. The CDW system contains business information such as sales and stock data.

Activities overview
•Designing and developing Cognos reports and Analysis together with the Requirements Analyst and the business representative. Analyze and evaluate use cases and change requests
•Estimate the time required for development
•Propose and evaluate front end solutions and communicate the impact to stakeholders such as Solution Designer, requirement analysts and system responsible
•Prepare, coordinate and package new versions in target environments
•Write and update relevant documentation
•Assist in troubleshooting of reported incidents and problems.
•Perform code reviews

Who are you?
The perfect candidate is a junior developer with a few years of experience from front end development and tools.
You have a strong interest in getting to know our costumers business and understanding their requirements and needs. The assignment includes realizing already defined requirements but also proactively suggests improvements or propose different possible solutions in dialogue with their business representative and requirement analyst.
You don´t need to have the drive to be the most skilled developer but should have the ability to get the job done. You are brave, open-minded, team spirited and is able to take on responsibility and leadership. Furthermore, you are thorough, analytical and thrive in a dynamic working environment with constant improvements.

Required skills
•2 years of experience of report development
•Experience from working in agile projects.
•You have the ability to understand business needs and to communicate with representatives from the business.
•Fluent in both writing and speaking Swedish and English.
•You are a team member but can also work independently when needed.
•You appreciate to work in a constantly changing business and in a dynamic environment.
•You have good social competence and communication skills.
•You have some experience as a leader of a smaller project or initiative and want to grow in a leading role in the future.
•You strive to be a business smart IT person
