Our job is to provide Scania's global business with IT-solutions that support the core business. Scania IT is represented in Sweden, Latin America, The Netherlands, France, Belgium and India, with a total of approx. 800 employees

Java Developers to Scania IT

The Solutions department within Scania IT is responsible for delivering software and solutions to all of Scania's different business areas.

Scania IT as an organisation is currently going through an exciting period of changes towards an increasingly business- and flow-oriented approach. This period of change offers a unique opportunity to influence the way we work and deliver value to the Scania business.

The Java development group is responsible for developing and supporting Scania's wide variety of different solutions with Java as the common platform. Today we have five development teams handling both new development projects and maintenance assignments. We can offer you a job with technical diversity and close contact with customers and the business in a company with an excellent working environment. Business development, with a focus on lean principles, and continual improvement initiatives are two distinctive features of Scania.

We are now looking for two Java developers who are passionate about contributing both in the technical platform, setting up automation, deliver software continuously and evolve our ways of working. Our teams consists of 4-6 developers, preferably with both test and DevOps at hand.

Job description
You will be part of one of the development teams striving to deliver value as often as possible with a high amount of automation. You will contribute in the evolution of even better ways to deliver value, even shorter feedback loops, even smaller deliveries and with a passion to stand up for the agile principles.

Your profile
You are of course fluent in Java and probably interested in other languages as well. You have a relevant collage education or matching experience.
