To power this exciting journey, we're introducing a pivotal role that bridges Product Development and Global IT - the AWS Cloud Architect & Builder.

As the AWS Cloud Architect & Builder, you will take technical ownership of the Dometic Consumer IoT Cloud platform. Your expertise will be focused on crafting and implementing cutting-edge, cloud-based architectures utilizing AWS. The goal is to create an infrastructure that's not just scalable and reliable but optimized for peak performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

In this role, collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to align architectural solutions with business objectives. Your role extends to providing technical leadership throughout project lifecycles and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization within AWS infrastructure. You will actively contribute to process enhancements and best practices within the organization, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and proactive problem-solving Staying updated with AWS best practices and innovations is essential for driving continuous improvement.

We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:

- 5 years of experience in designing and architecting IoT solutions based on AWS services

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent project-related experience).

- Knowledge of various AWS services, including IoT Core, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.

- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Node.js, and HTML5.

- Strong grasp of cloud architecture principles, microservices, and serverless computing.

- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and data management within AWS.

- Previous experience in one or more specific IoT industries (e.g., Industrial IoT, Smart Home, Asset Tracking, Smart Utilities, etc.) is a plus, particularly if you've worked on large-scale implementations.

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

- Fluent in both written and spoken English
