Academic Work is looking for a junior front end developer to our client.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from our client is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at our client. The intention is that they will offer you a permanent employment, given that all parts are satisfied with the cooperation.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a front end developer you will be working in Corporate Data Warehouse system with aim to store and maintain a data warehouse for the Sales and Buying business. The Corporate Data Warehouse system contains business information such as sales and stock data. Through Cognos you will develop reports from Netezza database. The assignment includes realizing already defined requirements but also proactively suggests improvements or propose different possible solutions in dialogue with our client´s business representative and requirement analyst.

As a junior front end developer you will join a development team that supports the Buying business. You will work within an agile Scrum team with requirements analyst, solution designer, Cognos developers and testers.

For example, you will:

* Designing and developing Cognos reports and Analysis together with the Requirements Analyst and the business representative. Analyze and evaluate use cases and change requests
* Estimate the time required for development
* Propose and evaluate front end solutions and communicate the impact to stakeholders such as Solution Designer, requirement analysts and system responsible
* Prepare, coordinate and package new versions in target environments
* Write and update relevant documentation
* Assist in troubleshooting of reported incidents and problems.
* Perform code reviews

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Around 2 years of experience of report development

* Experience from working in agile projects
* Excellent skills in English speaking and writing
* You have the ability to understand business needs and to communicate with representatives from the business

It will be considered an additional qualification if you have knowledge in:

* Skills in Swedish, speaking and writing
* Cognos Report Studio
* Cognos Framework Manager
* m Netezza, Aginity
* MS Office
