UX Designer to Qualisys

Do you have an interest in UX design, product development and UI design? Do you want to contribute to the application and science of human movement in areas such as sports, animated film, medicine and research?

The offer

Qualisys works with “motion capture” and develops digital high-speed video cameras with associated software applications and specialised web applications with customers are located all over the world. They are now in need of a UX designer who, together with product managers and developers, designs amazing product experiences and user interfaces.

The Gothenburg office is centrally located overlooking the Gothenburg harbour. Here, the entire development chain is under the same roof; market input, project management, software development and mechanical and electronics development. About 50 people work here, of which about 30 works with product development.

Information about the position

As a UX Designer at Qualisys, you will work in a cross-functional team focused on Qualisys' end-user applications in the sports sciences. Since Qualisys is a small and growing company, you will have great influence over your work and development.

At Qualisys, you are expected to be an active part of developing the company and their products. You are expected to take responsibility and you are given the freedom to do so.

You will be a key contributor in creating great product experiences and user interfaces through collaboration with product managers, other teams and other stakeholders. You will support and lead the organisation in best practices and principles of UX to enhance overall UX knowledge throughout the organisation. You will develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides and design system components.

You have a track record of delivering outstanding design in challenging contexts and you crave new challenges to hone your problem-solving skills. You like structure and have a great sense of prioritising and organising your work. You value teamwork and take an active role in constantly improving team performance and well-being.

Your profile

• Solid experience as a UX designer
• Strong UI design and UX research skills
• Fluent in english, both written and spoken

Good to have

• Interest in Sports Science and the workings of the human body
• Knowledge of frontend web development (javascript)
• Fluency in Swedish

Customers are found in a wide verity of industries with applications in general biomechanics research and sports biomechanics, in the animation industry to create animations for movies and games, as part of Virtual Reality experiences and as tracking solutions in many industrial applications.
