As a ?Schibsted Next? visual designer you will be working as an integrated member of our cross functional team of ux researchers, interaction designers, product managers and engineering teams to support the product process from early brainstorming through to idea experimentation, research, validation and final designs. You are truly passionate about working in partnership with our interaction designers to take ideas, wireframes and flows and create simple, beautiful and effective designs across different platforms which resonate strongly with our users.
SKILLS
Solid visual and aesthetic design skills to create final mock-ups for implementation, always striving for better, simpler and more beautiful communication.
Strong understanding of usability and user experience principles
Passion for creativity, openness, communication and the power of information.
Have a very strong user centric approach using insights from users, data and research in development of flows, wireframes & mockups
Ability to translate wireframes to visual design that is clear and joyful for the user
Ability to work closely with developers, product managers and interaction designers in order to design experiences that are technologically feasible and meet the business and user needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
EXPERIENCE
4+ years of relevant design experience
Experience designing mobile apps
Expert understanding of visual design principles
Experience designing software with tools like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Sketch, etc
Experience with coding is a plus
