Role Summary:
The Lead Product Architect plays a pivotal role in supporting our legacy C++ application for Aviation Crew Tracking and Flight Operations. With 10 - 15 years of experience in engineering, this position demands deep technical expertise and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will lead architectural transformations, ensure compliance with aviation regulations, and drive technological advancements. Knowledge of global airline regulatory rules is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership: Take ownership of the architectural vision and strategy for the legacy C++ application, driving its modernization and scalability to meet the evolving needs of the Aviation industry.
Technology Expertise: Leverage your deep technical expertise to guide the architectural decisions and implementations, ensuring they align with industry best practices and emerging trends.
Legacy System Transformation: Lead the architectural transformation of the legacy application, optimizing its performance, and ensuring seamless integration with modern SaaS technologies.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with regulatory flying rules and standards for airlines in different regions. Ensure the software aligns with these regulations, providing airlines with compliant solutions.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance, to drive architectural excellence throughout the product development lifecycle.
Mentorship: Mentor and coach technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications:
v Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
v 10 - 15 years of overall experience in software product architecture.
v Proficiency in C++ programming and a strong passion for technology.
v Experience in modernizing legacy applications (preferred).
v Knowledge of regulatory flying rules for airlines in different regions is preferred.
v Excellent communication and leadership skills.
v Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
