What you will do


The team you will be working with is a team with high autonomy and freedom to operate. You are encouraged to find improvements in all areas of SW development and to spend the time to make things right from the start. Some examples of things you could be working with; Our Matlab/Simulink developer environment, Software Build Systems, Unit Test Frameworks, Virtual ECUs, Automation scripts, CI/CD solutions, and many other things.

The team is working according to the Agile/SCRUM principles with recurring sprint planning’s and a product backlog. The team is an integral part of the larger Software Factory group, also including a Continuous Integration team and a Continuous Delivery team.

For this role we are specifically looking to add you who has a competence from model based design development.


Here are listed some of the activities done in the team that you will learn by working with us:

  • Advance our model based development environment to be world class in speed and efficiency
  • Build Software/Architectural Design and specifications for development environment
  • Maintain the Existing SW Development Toolchain & Integrate new tools in our SW Factory
  • Design Software including Architectural Design in C code
  • Creating or updating existing scripts in Python
  • Matlab and or Targetlink development
  • Verification of defined technical solutions

Who you are


We are looking for a team member who enjoys cooperating in a team and who has good communication and collaboration skills. A positive mindset and a “can-do- attitude” characterizes your personal profile. You are comfortable in navigating on your own in order to make difficult decisions in complex matters.


In order to succeed in this role we believe that you have the following qualifications:

  • A genuine interest in Software Development and Tools is key
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
  • Experience with development with Matlab & Targetlink or Embedded Coder is a requirement
  • Knowledge in programming Python and scripting in Bash or similar
  • The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work, autonomy, and ability to work in a team is key.
  • Open-minded and pro-active, structured and a drive to take the lead is an advantage
  • Previous Experience in Automotive propulsion software development will be highly valued
