At HMS Networks, we are looking for a talented UX Designer to join business unit Anybus to continue creating world-leading Industrial Information and Communication Technology to our customers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, conduct user research, and translate findings into innovative design solutions. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the UX strategy and ensuring that our products are user-friendly and aligned with industry best practices.

As UX Designer you will:

• Conduct user research to understand user pain and gains and jobs-to-be-done not only at customers, but all the way to end-customers.
• Translate user research insights into personas, user journeys and applying consistent UX design patterns.
• Support in optimizing the user journey to in-design our embedded products into customer’s machines and industrial devices.
• Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate and test design concepts based on qualitative and quantitative input.
• Collaborate with product managers, product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and functionalities.
• Design user interfaces that are intuitive towards the target group of product Managers, HW & SW Engineers.
• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and constantly consider how we can remove manual steps with technology paired with good design.
• Collaborate with the development teams and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.
• Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.

ABOUT YOU

• You have experience mapping and optimizing user journeys for hi-tech B2B products - making complex technology easy to understand.
• You are comfortable being the first UX Designer joining the team - a pioneer in your discipline!
• You are comfortable demonstrating and presenting the impact of UX Design with the rest of the organization - you will be our UX champion!
• You have experience from working in cross-functional teams, are customer centric and have a growth mindset. You are not afraid of signing up for results.
• You have proven experience as a UX Designer, creating user-centered designs with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX design skills and projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Understanding of interaction design principles and how to apply best practices.
• Most importantly, you are a team player who understands that customer success is the result of team members contributing with their passion and ideas.
