Job description
In alignment with Munters strategy to expand the digitalization and smarter climate controlling, we are currently seeking a motivated embedded software developer to join our global Embedded Control Systems team.

The team is responsible for the development of control systems in the company's portfolio of climate solutions. As a developer specializing in embedded systems with a focus on IoT connectivity, you will collaborate with the team to work on some of Munters' key products. This involves working on the control of motors, heaters, coolers, and various sensors.

The main responsibility and focus will be to expand and improve the control system platforms capabilities to measure environmental, electrical and mechanical parameters.

The position also includes:
• Develop and test of embedded software
• Electronics and software prototyping
• Develop and implement modularized software for the control system platform and IoT connectivity
• Research and conceptualization of several type of sensors to improve control systems capabilities to measure and collect more data
• Plan and build a robust and maintainable software stack
• Be a part of the next-generation controls strategy development, optimization, and AI development at the embedded control systems point of view

The posiition is located at Munters' headquarters in Kista, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Your profile
For this position, we are looking for individuals who have:
• A master or bachelor in engineering in a relevant field, such as computer science, mechatronics, or electronics, or other relevant technical college education
• Several years of experience in similar roles within embedded systems
• Experience in software development in C/C++
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

Experience with C# and/or Python is a plus. Furthermore, it is highly advantageous if you have experience with testing, knowledge of air quality sensors, and preferably experience with connected machinery or products.

To be a suitable candidate for this position, effective communication skills, an appreciation for knowledge sharing with colleagues, and motivation to work in a creative environment are essential. You are a responsible individual with strong organizational skills to drive your work effectively.
