What you will be doing:

As one of our Android Developers, you will be part of a cross-functional, DevOps team building and maintaining InStay experiences. Besides mobile developers, the team consists of UX and QA functions, Data & Insight Analysts, back end developers as well as a Product Manager, and together you will be responsible for developing Strawberry’s Android App to deliver the best possible guest experience. As an Android developer, you will:

• Develop changes as agreed in the user stories, ask questions if something needs clarification, suggest improvements when you see opportunities.
• Live and breathe testing, ensure your unit tests are complete, and provide full cover to the code that you write.
• Strive for improvements, you understand that well-crafted code is easy to understand and maintain and you suggest ways to make things better.
• Be a part of our team as we share our experiences and help each other become better; you are kind; you raise your hand if you are stuck, and help someone else out if you can.

Who we think you are:

• We are looking for a team player who shares our passion for mobile development.
• To be comfortable in this role, you will need to have worked with Android development for a couple of years (we believe 3-5 years).
• You are familiar with a variety of technologies such as MVVM, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin coroutines, Dagger 2, Retrofit, Room, UI and unit testing.

This role is based in Stockholm. Fluency in English is required for this position, however Swedish is not needed.
