Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Utilize your expertise in machine learning engineering to contribute to the development and implementation of advanced solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy machine learning models and pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with BigQuery to code SQL and analyze large datasets for actionable insights.
• Leverage Cloud Composer and Airflow for efficient workflow orchestration.
• Utilize IAM and service accounts for secure and controlled access to GCP resources.
• Employ Data Catalog to manage and organize data assets effectively.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles for scalable and reproducible infrastructure.
• Explore and implement Dataflow, K8s, Vertex AI pipeline, Kubeflow pipeline for enhanced machine learning capabilities.

What you bring:

• Proficiency in Python programming with a strong emphasis on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and adherence to coding best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of unit testing and end-to-end testing, including familiarity with Pytest, fixtures, and unittest.
• Expertise in cloud-agnostic skills, with a deep understanding of popular Unix systems and the ability to install applications in Docker environments.
• Familiarity with shell scripting for efficient system operations.
• Experience in creating and managing Pull Requests (PRs) and resolving merge conflicts.
• Capability to establish CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, following industry best practices.
• Thorough understanding of Docker containers and their deployment.
• Deep knowledge of DBT, preferably with GCP, and proficiency in SQL.
• Strong competence in data modeling and system design.
• Certification: Professional Machine Learning Engineer on GCP.
