Backend developer

We seek a skilled and innovative Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will conceptualize, design, and implement robust and scalable backend systems, ensuring the user's front-end experience is seamless and efficient. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing our platform for maximum speed and scalability, implementing security and data protection, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and Maintain Backend Systems:

- Design, implement, and maintain server-side application logic.

- Develop backend components, connect the application with the other web services, and support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the application.

2. API Development and Management:

- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.

- Create and manage API resources that work across devices.

- Ensure that applications meet quality standards and user experience goals.

3. Data Management:

- Ensure the security and integrity of the application's data.

- Implement data storage solutions and ensure they are functioning as needed.

4. Performance Tuning:

- Optimize applications for maximum speed scalability and manage application caching.

- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.

5. Collaboration and Teamwork:

- Collaborate with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.

- Participate in all development lifecycle phases, from concept to deployment.

6. Security Compliance:

- Ensure that the data handling and storage comply with legal regulations.

- Implement security protocols and practices to safeguard information against potential attacks.

7. Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.

- Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization.

8. Documentation:

- Produce technical documentation explaining the backend codebase's use and functionality.

- Maintain code integrity and organization.

Qualifications:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience: 5 years of experience in backend development.

- Technical Skills:

- Proficient knowledge of a backend programming language (Python, Java, PHP, NET).

- Experience with frameworks (Django/Tomcat).

- Understanding of server-side templating languages and web service protocol (JSON).

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and database technology (MySQL, NoSQL).

- Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Attention to detail and a keen eye for detecting issues.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

- This position requires In-office work to discuss project details to meet project deadlines regularly.
