Operations Engineer / Systems Engineer med erfarenhet av systemdrift

What we expect of you

Ensure high service quality – availability, performance, security, stability, predictability and proactivity in maintenance of our next generation Nordic HRM SaaS solution and integrated payroll solutions.

Maximize automation of deployment, diagnosis, monitoring and analysis of the service as well as incident handling. Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.

You will be working with strategic engineering, along with tactical hands-on technical work, being responsible for both operations management and configuration management including deployment of software/configuration changes

We apply agile development methods and stress the importance of efficient feedback loops. You will work closely with development teams, support teams and QA team to bring new features and services into production and secure high service quality in operations.

What you need

• 4-5 years’ experience of working as a hands-on Production Operations Engineer, production deployment, monitoring and operational support in cloud environment

• Working according to DevOps and agile software development methods

• Working with large data sets that create near real-time analytics

• Dealing with offshore teams

• Maintain and configure configuration management (CM) tools/software

• Develop tools/utilities/scripts to assist in development and operations

• Maintain and create builds of software applications

Skills

• Microsoft technologies, specifically Azure, SQL server, .net

• Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and troubleshooting skills are necessary

• Familiar with the ITIL framework

• Strong understanding of at least one configuration management tool

• Good understanding of software configuration management concepts
