Software Developer (Android Automotive)

Infotainment systems is one of the fastest growing areas within Automotive today. Competition is no longer limited to traditional automotive competitors, as innovative and fast-moving companies are also starting to get involved in the area.
We are now looking for a motivated, curious, and quality conscious person to join our team focused on Media Center, Navigation and Voice Control.

What you will do 

We offer you to work in a small cross functional team, with high focus on quality and continuous improvements.
Together with your colleagues you will develop and enhance the functionality in the car to give the end user a great experience.
You will design and develop touch-based user interfaces to control various parts of the vehicle.
The development is done in full stack environment using Java, C++, Python, Bash and the Android tool set
You will use the latest tools and technologies available and collaborate with partners and other teams to deliver software. Automated testing is central to the project so you should have good knowledge of software testing, test-driven development and the tools commonly used to implement them in Android development.
In our team we are also involved in testing and trouble shooting in real vehicles which gives interesting real-life insight in our products.

What you will bring

We know that you are a curious, problem-solving person with a true learning mindset who works effectively together with others to achieve results. You are progressive and can handle multiple parallel tasks at the same time. You are creative, quality conscious and you are inspired by technical ideas
You have a M.Sc. or a B.Sc. within Electronics, Software Engineering or similar and you have several years’ experience of Android app development and have good knowledge in Android Java, Kotlin and Android Studio.
You are familiar with modern app architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM, layered architecture, refactoring) as well as having good knowledge of Android testing frameworks (Junit, Espresso, Mockito).
You will also bring experience in AOSP and the AOSP build system, as well as having fluent English skills both written and spoken.
You have experience in Continuous Integration, and you are familiar with Agile methods.
You have good English skills, both written and spoken.
Ideally, you have a valid driver’s license, B-level

Apart from the above it’s meritorious to have

·     Experience from Automotive Infotainment
