The vital role of proteins in understanding human biology has been recognized for many decades, but technological limitations severely restricted the comprehensive investigation of the huge number of proteins that could be important in different biological processes and diseases. With Olink, scientists can now simultaneously measure thousands of human proteins using just a few µL of blood sample, with highly specific, thoroughly validated assays that cover a very wide dynamic range (fg/mL to µg/mL).

Position Description

Olink Proteomics are looking for a driven and experienced full stack developer to join one of our software teams to work with a cloud-based application. The core backend is based on .NET with a React frontend. You will work in an agile team to ensure successful and qualitative deliveries. The system supports the organization across several departments ranging from R&D to Production/QC to Internal sales and integrates with other systems to share or consume information. This role will be based in our Uppsala headquarters and report to our Software Development Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

- Take part in software development projects as a developer, including writing testable code, performing code review and writing test cases.
- Work closely with the team and stakeholders to understand business needs and help translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Plan and document technical specifications for features and system design.
- Contribute to improving the development process.
- Contribute and strive for technical improvements in the platform.

Qualifications/Skills

- Minimum 3 years of experience from software development
- C#, .NET, .NET Core
- React/TypeScript
- Full professional proficiency in English is a must
- Professional proficiency in Swedish is a plus
