The role
As our System Engineer - Perception Expert within AD/ADAS, you will be a part of our Advisory Services department. In this role you will guide our clients in creating safer and more advanced products. You'll be responsible for connecting important areas to develop and validate perception systems for cutting-edge autonomous driving solutions. Our team provides invaluable guidance to clients, where you translate the goal of building safe autonomous vehicles into precise perception system KPI requirements, annotation context, content, and quality.

We address crucial questions, such as determining the level of detail required for ground-truth data labeling to ensure reliable system KPIs and safety certifications. Challenging the status quo, our team delivers candid advice and challenges clients' preconceptions. Our ultimate aim is their success, which necessitates a deep understanding of their needs, effective guidance, credibility in interactions, and a structured work approach.

Additionally, the team's domain expertise will be shared company-wide for educational purposes and to provide valuable inputs to our product teams.

We see that you have:

A Master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent education

- At least three years of experience working with AD/ADAS sensor data (e.g., camera, lidar or radars)

- At least two years of experience working with Computer Vision and Machine Learning

- Proficiency in Python and databases like SQL or similar

If you have experience in AD/ADAS functions, system development or validation, or are familiar with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) or SOTIF, it is a big plus.
