Senior QA Tester

Imaweb is the leading European publisher of software solutions for automotive distribution. We are supporting the digitalization of automotive distribution and strengthening our teams in charge of development projects for a new generation of products. 

We are currently looking for a Swedish speaking QA Tester interested in a position at our site in Madrid.  

• Context of the position

Imaweb needs 1 QA Tester to build a new team from scratch in Madrid, which will be responsible for the evolution, development and maintenance of a CRM product for the automotive sector (for vehicle sales), whose users are all located in Sweden.

They will report to the IT Project Manager. The team will be composed by 4 developers, 1 technical leader and 1 functional tester.

• Main missions

• Design test plans by defining robust test cases and covering all test paths.
• Collaborate hand in hand with Developers, both for test cases and for reporting bugs and testing solutions.
• Write functional documentation on new developments.
• Keep the documentation organized.
• Execute functional test plans manually, and compare with the expected outcome.
• Launch automated test scripts and review the result.
• Test REST and SOAP APIs.
• Report bugs through Jira.
• Conduct training and presentations of new developments, both to the rest of the teams and to the customer..

• Main interfaces with other teams / departments

• Product team: to assist in the analysis of functional proposals and transmit possible new evolutions and improvements.
• Support team: to coordinate the resolution of complex incidents.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Technical skills

• English C1 or higher.
• +4 years of testing experience in the technologies involved.
• Have worked with agile methodologies.
• Expert in the main technologies:
• Demonstrable knowledge of APIS and Postman.
• Web testing knowledge: inspecting with the browser console, interpreting GET and POST calls, navigating the HTML DOM, etc
• Experience with XML, JSON, CSV file work, as most of the developments have input and output files in different formats that they must test, make dummy files for testing, etc.
• Know the different types of tests: black box, white box, integration, regression, etc.
• Nice to have: SQL but it is no a must

• Soft skills

• Partnership 
• High communication skills, present in public in Spanish and English and Swedish
• To be very careful with the quality of the work
