Within the department of Safe & Efficient Driving and section Vehicle Environment Situation our ambition is to enable various ADAS functionalities, by delivering a unified representation of the traffic situation around the vehicle. We work with state of the art sensing technologies and develop our own sensor fusion, all while maintaining a data driven approach.
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role you will work in an agile team responsible for developing and optimizing sensor fusion algorithms to make sense of complex sensor data. You will collaborate with engineers from around the company to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our vehicle environment and think ahead about the needs for future solutions.
Your daily responsibilities include:
- Design and develop fusion algorithms in MATLAB and C++
- Tune and verify performance based on simulations and real world data
- Integrate software on target hardware
- Write requirements on the next generation sensors
You will be a part of Safe & Efficient Driving Team and reporting to the Group Manager - Sensor Fusion, Sofia Karlsson.
Relevant Experience
We believe you have a passion for ADAS and want to join us on the journey towards 100% safe. You enjoy teamwork but are also an independent thinker coming with your own ideas. We believe that you are curious, flexible, open-minded and eager to continuously improve your skills and drive the team’s collaboration.
You have experience in some of the following:
- Master’s degree within Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Engineering Physics, or similar
- Industry experience in C++ SW development
- Experience from ADAS/AD
- Sensor fusion algorithms and multi object tracking
- Real time embedded software development
- Classic and Adaptive Autosar
- Understanding of ISO 26262
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
