Frontend developer – Volvo Group Connected Solutions

The Position

You will develop software applications in React and Java Script with related tests to support our users to have an increased availability of their vehicles and to make the customer workshop experience as smooth and efficient as possible.

In this role you will also be deploying, operating and maintaining the applications and actively contribute to the solution design of new functionality. You will work in close collaboration with other Developers, UX, BA, Testers, Scrum Master and Product Owners. It’s natural for you to continuously reflect upon how we can improve and take a dialogue on this with your colleagues.

You will be in the lead of your own development and there are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop as you learn our tools, new techniques, and the business. In the team we are all taking an active part in refinement of requirements, and we support each other in taking ownership for our product. For us it’s important to deliver on promise.

Your profile

We are looking for a Front End Developer with excellent analytical skills, great at problem-solving, passionate about technology and who loves developing software applications! You ensure that you understand how your work is adding value to our customers.

In addition to your great communication skills you have a university degree in software engineering, computer science or similar and you are proficient in Java Script and React. You have also worked with state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and query languages such as GraphQL. You are also used to work with test frameworks (Jest, Cypress) and test automation.
