Job Description

We need to strengthen our cloud operations team with an additional Full Stack Developer who is driven by technical challenges and the urge to always find better and more efficient ways of delivering services to the customer.

The Digital Platform Operation team is a multi-competence team, operating the Vattenfall Digital Platform; this comes with a big variety of tasks to ensure stable cloud systems. Those tasks are governance (ensuring architectural and security compliance), IaaS, PaaS, Network operation, Monitoring support, Azure DevOps support and capacity management. To handle all those different topics we must automate as much as possible and provide self-service functionality.

Your role

Develop and improve existing Azure based web portals for resource creations and deployments based on Angular and C# providing an intuitive and user-friendly interface for internal teams to provision, manage, and monitor resources in the Azure environment.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and operations, to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform.
  • Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using tools like Azure DevOps, Git.
  • Design and implement user Friendly web app using Angular , entity framework , .NETcore and Azure APIs.
  • Develop front end and backend code and troubleshoot bugs .Create unit tests to ensure code is functioning as expected.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources, leveraging Azure Resource Manager templates and Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud web apps, monitoring and troubleshooting application issues.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, adhering to Vattenfall's information security policies and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance Vattenfall's cloud infrastructure and web portal.

Qualifications

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Automation Account and Microsoft Graph.
  • High level of knowledge around the Angular framework, JavaScript and .NET framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
  • Experience in developing web apps with Angular with an SQL DB backend.
  • Strong experience working as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer in an Azure environment.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools such as Docker.
  • Solid understanding of CI / CD principles and hands-on experience with CI / CD tools, such as Azure DevOps or Git.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and concepts such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM / Bicep) templates or Terraform.
  • Experience with Azure Automation and Azure Functions with Powershell or C#.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, international team.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of the local language in the chosen location (Berlin, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Gliwice, or Katowice) is a plus.
