ICT Engineer - Hydra Developer

We are currently looking for a consultant for the position of ICT Engineer - Hydra Developer for a client in Linköping!

The assignment will be carried out at the client's premises in Linköping.

Information about the assignment:

The client is searching for a qualified software developer to join an existing team, which includes both employees and consultants, dedicated to the Configuration Management Database known as Hydra.

The existing team is responsible for the development and operation of Hydra and its related sub-services, including the frontend, API, Continuous Integration (CI) environment, deployment automation, and server/container infrastructure.

The main tasks include feature development, which involves requirement gathering, investigation, technical design, UX/Usability considerations, code development, testing, verification, and deployment.

The individual is also expected to participate in the regular operations rotation, handling user-reported bugs and support requests, and maintaining and improving the infrastructure for service hosting, CI, deployment, log handling, and monitoring environments.

The person will be part of an open and collaborative team environment and regularly reflect on current ways of working to propose improvements.

Mandatory Requirements:

The successful candidate should have 3-7 years of experience with a competence profile corresponding to Developer job stage 5 (M) or 6 (Sr) with the following specifics:

- Experience in developing REST API CRUD applications

- Experience in creating React/Angular/Vue SPA applications

- Experience in developing user interfaces with a UX approach.

- Experience with testing and CI/CD tools

- Experience with containerized service deployment

- Used to working in a team with an Agile-based way of working.

- Experience with DevOps

- Customer-oriented and service-minded

Additionally, preference will be given to candidates with at least 2-3 years of experience in as many as possible of the following languages/frameworks/tools:

- MySQL

- TypeScript

- Angular

- Python

- Kotlin / Java Spring Boot

- SASS

- Bootstrap

- Jenkins

- Angular Material

- D3.js

- PHP

- Laravel

Desired Requirements:

Any experience in data science, data analysis, and/or machine learning is also meriting.
