With more than 100 patents we are investing heavily in innovation and new products. Our zero-configuration, software-only P2P algorithms have unlocked the possibility of live video streaming and video on demand for our customers over the last 10 years!

During 2023, we are launching our VX platform and next-generation products, aiming at enabling superior video experiences to drive change.

About the position

We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be part of Hive's Video Optimization team. You will be part of a fantastic team of 4 people, with team members in both Stockholm and Berlin. We welcome applications that can either work in Stockholm or Berlin!

You and the team will work on our product that ensures the success of the Live events of our customers, by increasing the reachability of good quality stream. You will support the setup of Customer networks and by implementing the most efficient distribution of the video content inside customers' networks.

Plus, you'll be working together to enhance and innovate our video optimization product. Does it sound complex? Yeah, it is! But this means, you have the opportunity to learn a lot.

- Build new features in the Hive Portal - tech used by thousands of people around the whole world!

- Be the first member of our team to be part of the Web Application Guild and become a pro with Web application - like super pro

- Work with Hive's framework that allows you to do business modeling and UI/UX.

Your previous experiences 

Here, we put your love for coding and genuine passion ahead of formalities. In the coding universe, your excitement for crafting software matters more than a pile of degrees or a lengthy resume. Besides the love for coding and a passion for technology, we believe your experiences include:

- Being a versatile Fullstack Developer, from either school, own projects or work

- Knowledge with node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript.

- Worked with Web Application development.

- Interest in working with the visual aspects

- Experience with any frameworks

We see it as meritorious if you have knowledge of react and/or angular.
