Stockholm Headhunting has now been commissioned to find an lead front end developer to Advinans.

Advinans is a fintech start up within the robo advice space which are located in a very modern and fully refurbished office close to Stockholm School of Economics. The company consists of the two founders, Fredrik Burling, former partner at BCG/Bain and a hedge fund and Paolo Sodini, professor in Finance at Stockholm School of Economics. Advinans has recruited a CTO from a Nordic bank (name to be disclosed soon)– that provides a very experienced fin tech development competence. The company has secured first round financing from leading institutional and angel investors, and has one leading blue chip customer already signed. In total they are in positive discussion with five larger customers representing ca 30 000 employees. The robo advice service will be based on the latest technology to provide holistic and personalized financial advice to private clients. The advice will be based on the latest academic research and be 100% transparent, no kickbacks or hidden fee’s. Advinans believe in well diversified portfolios, factor investing and low costs. Ambition to develop a European business, with Sweden as a first milestone.

The Advinans system will be built on top of a portfolio management software and integrate several data retrieval API services. The system needs to be scalable and secure and provide very easy and intuitive visualization and navigation. The client interface will be via webpage and a IOS/Android app. Overall ambition is to create a ”Google” in consumer finance, by continuously pushing the boundaries and try to make the world better and more efficient. Advinans ambition is to create a creative atmosphere where employees can dedicate part of their time into research that pushes the possible of the service.

Advinans are looking for a smart and driven lead front end developer, that has solid full stack development skills, in addition to an interest in finance. Most likely you have 5 years relevant work experience and are now looking for an opportunity to play first violin. As lead front end developer you will be part of the technical management team and have responsibility to build the front end technical platform from scratch, recruit the front end development team and in a next step develop the European system roadmap. As a person you are hardworking, hands on developer, thourogh yet pragmatic, solution oriented and great to hang around with.
