- Work with all aspects of Pega, including enterprise application design, environment choices such as cloud or on-prem, artificial intelligence and DevOps.

- Engage with cross-functional teams on the daily activities such as, server monitoring, triaging issues and Platform monitoring.

- Lead POC’s relating to strategic initiatives to drive the Pega platform forward.

- Be responsible for architecture and design of business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks.

- Develop and demonstrate advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features.

- Support on activities including upgrades, patching, Deployment Manager upgrades, installations and support.

- Work to constantly define and refine Pega best practices and provide leadership in the adoption of prescriptive development processes.

- Contribute to the CoE assets by building reusable components.

What is needed in this role:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or similar work experience.

- Demonstrated experience of working with the latest version of Pega ( 8.x).

- Ability to build strong relationships and to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving ability with a positive "can-do" attitude.

- Strong knowledge of integrations and infrastructure components such as, server, DB, CPU, etc.

- Knowledge of Kafka, Cassandra and other embedded services in Pega.

- Knowledge of cloud related services like AWS and Azure.

- Knowledge of modern micro service architecture and containerization concepts.

- Experience of working in an ITSM environment.

- Certification - CSA & CSSA from Pegasystems on Pega 8.x (PEGA Infinity)/PEGA Infinity

- Certification - CLSA from Pegasystems on Pega 8.x (PEGA Infinity)/PEGA Infinity is optional.

- Used to work in an International and Multi-cultural settings

- Understanding and knowledge of current & enterprise wide technologies including Open Source, web application development and databases (DB/2, Oracle, SQL)

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
