Azure DevOps Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidy growing bank, who are at an exciting stage of migrating their on-premise IT solutions to Azure.

We are looking for Azure DevOps Engineers to join an existing team for a new project.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and quality assurance engineers, to ensure the seamless delivery of our software solutions. Your expertise in Azure infrastructure, automation, and release management will be essential in optimising our development and deployment processes.

In particular you will have a strong IaC mindset

Technical Skills

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Bicep/Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Kubernetes, Azure Container App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, CosmosDb, Azure ServiceBus and Azure Networking.

- Proficiency in Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy

- Solid understanding of version control systems (eg, Git) and experience with branching strategies and code merging.

- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Bicep or ARM templates.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, or ELK Stack (inc. Grafana)

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
