Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Developer to join the Swedish Police Authority. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the Police’s container platform and associated CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and development of the Police’s container platform.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.
- Participate in the development of the container platform on Jetson nVidia Xavier hardware.
- Apply expertise in Ubuntu system administration and package management to maintain platform robustness.
- Adjust the scope of work between 75-100% based on ongoing discussions with the client throughout the assignment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Linux system administration.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, preferably in an organization with over 1000 employees.
- Minimum of 2 years' working knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Nexus.
- At least 3 years of programming experience, with skills in languages such as Python or Java.
- At least 1.5 years of experience working with Jetson nVidia Xavier hardware.
- At least 2 years' experience administering and packaging Ubuntu distributions.
- At least 2 years of certificate management and PKI experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience within government agencies or the judicial system is highly advantageous.
Security and Confidentiality:
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, the Swedish Police Authority requires a high level of security and confidentiality awareness. The appointed consultant will undergo a thorough security vetting, which includes registry checks and signing a security protection agreement as mandated by the Security Protection Act (2018:585). This process may necessitate the consultant and their employer to complete certain procedures before the Assignment Agreement can be executed. Swedish citizenship may be a requirement in some cases.
