Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team within DCS (Data Center Services) department at Tele2 is searching for an Automation Specialist. IaaS is crucial for Tele2, ensuring stable compute, storage, and other infrastructure components. This is a key function that the entire Tele2 relies on for the business to function and that enables tomorrow's technologies.

In the role of Automation Specialist, some of your responsibilities include:

Primarily manage and optimize our Linux servers, with occasional involvement in Windows platforms.

Drive VMware Aria Automation initiatives and harness the power of VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator to enhance our operations.

-
Dive deep into VMware infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience with vSphere NSX-T.

-
Play a pivotal role in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, with a special emphasis on Tanzu, elevating our container orchestration capabilities.

-
Develop scripts and tools using languages like Python, Bash, and JavaScript to automate processes and improve system performance.

-
Engage in troubleshooting, drawing upon your superior problem-solving skills.

-
Utilize your expertise to seamlessly interact with REST APIs, enhancing integration and data exchange processes across platforms.

Who you are:

-
Proven experience with Linux systems administration and a basic understanding of Windows.

-
Proficiency with VMware infrastructure, including but not limited to vSphere NSX-T.

-
Knowledge of VMware Aria Automation and its Orchestrator.

-
Familiarity with Kubernetes, preferably Tanzu.

-
Strong programming abilities, particularly in Python, Bash, and JavaScript.

Strong problem-solving skills

Good understanding of how to interact with REST APIs, ensuring smooth data transfers and integrations.

A proactive approach to work, capable of foreseeing issues and implementing pre-emptive solutions.

It's a Plus if You Have:

Prior experience working in a dynamic, cloud-centric environment.

Specialized certifications related to VMware, Kubernetes, or other mentioned technologies.

Training or seminars attended focusing on advanced problem-solving methodologies.
