Senior Software Engineer – Applied Machine Learning

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who has a passion for software engineering and applied Machine Learning, who can lead projects from conception to deployment. You will be working on cutting-edge technologies and solving real-world problems with ML-powered solutions including robotics application.

What you will do
Lead projects within Machine Learning, and integrate solutions into existing or new products and services by working cross-functionally across engineering, data science, and machine learning teams.
Curate datasets for various automated ML tasks, including fine tuning and training of models.
Identify research areas within ML to make informed decisions on future projects and provide technical inputs to stakeholders for adoption of new technologies in existing projects.
Supervise graduates, master thesis students, and interns on their project work.
Collaborate with universities and external partner companies on common research areas and provide technical evaluation of software and hardware solutions.

What you will need
A master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in Python, C++, or C#.
At least 2 years of experience in applied Machine Learning, preferably in computer vision, natural language processing, or 3D simulations.
Experience in managing projects and teams, alongside stakeholder expectations.
Knowledgeable about MLOps platforms and/or ML CI/CD workflows to manage datasets and model training, deployment, and monitoring.
Experience in working with ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
Experience in working with hardware accelerators (Ex. GPU’s)
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a creative mindset.
A passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with the latest trends in AI and Machine Learning.
