Senior fullstack developer .NET

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Role Summary

We are looking for a senior full stack developer within .NET, who want to impact what we build, how we build it and also how we work as a member of an autonomous team.

You will be part of a group of now 11 people that are divided in two teams including developers, product owner and a UX architect.

The team is building applications to support the internal users, that are coming from of all the brands in the TRATON family. We make continuous improvements together with our customers to make their work easier, and to ensure the quality of the data that they are responsible of.

These data are needed to be able to communicate with the different components on the vehicle. We are working with tools and techniques such as Docker, Git, GitLab, Jira, .NET, AWS, Visual Studio, Angular, CI/CD, Unit test frameworks.

Long Description

To be successful in this role, you should have a genuine passion for developing software that brings value to our users, as well as meeting the high demands of uptime and reliability.

To be successful in this role:

• You have a Master of Engineering with a focus on computer science or equivalent.

• You are or want to strive to be a full stack software developer, writing business code as well as managing DevOps and test code.

• You are familiar with working in languages such as .NET, C# and Angular.

• You write and speak fluently in English. If you write and speak fluently in Swedish, it is a merit.

Other skills that is a merit to have:

• Comfortable with tools and techniques such as Docker, Git, GitLab, Jira, .NET, AWS, Visual Studio, CI/CD, Unit test frameworks

• You know AWS, and preferably services such as S3 and Postgres SQL.

In this role you will collaborate a lot with your coworkers, people from other teams and stakeholders where your collaboration skills are expected to be good. In this team there is a big focus on delivering high quality in our products and we have a focus on the performance for both the product and our delivery. You will be analysing and solve the problems that we are standing in front of together with your team.
