R&D Teamleader to Prover

Our customers include infrastructure managers such as SL, Trafikverket, Paris metro RATP, and New York metro MTA, as well as signaling system suppliers such as Alstom, Hitachi, and Siemens.

We are looking for a team leader for our R&D department, which develops and maintains our software applications and is just about to start a major cloud SaaS project based on requests from our customers. Due to cyber security restrictions, the solution will have to use private clouds.

Responsibilities

Our R&D Team consists of ten software developers, including two testers. The team develops next-generation software for rail and metro signaling systems development. The team has solid expertise in, for example, compiler technology. We use a wide range of programming languages, such as F#, C#, Ocaml, C, Python and Bash. Our next step is to build a web-based product portfolio for our customers. As a team leader, you lead the work towards migrating our software to the cloud. Your focus areas will be mentorship, architecture, and technical decisions. The aspects of mentorship we value most are the ability to inspire, helping individuals to improve, and encouraging team spirit.

Your Profile

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and SaaS implementation. A solid understanding of good engineering practices, and system architecture is needed. You have a collaborative approach that fosters effective communication, cooperation, and synergy among team members. You can inspire, motivate, and lead your team to achieve project objectives. As a person, you are open to ideas and contribute with your own, you believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration and transparency. You build trust and relationships at all levels. Fluency in English is essential.
